Tristan MacManus
Professional ballroom and Latin dancer, choreographer, teacher, and artist Tristan MacManus has bewitched, beguiled, and captivated people around the world with his extraordinary talent, striking good looks, and sincere humility.
When first introduced as a member of the Dancing With the Stars Troupe in Season 12, he mesmerized the viewing audience with his sense of humor, his unique style, and his unmatched precision and skill. His interaction with his celebrity partner, Nancy Grace, in Season 13 proved that he was a true treasure whose accomplishments as a first-year pro were truly remarkable. In Season 14, he was honored to be partnered with the Empress of Soul, Gladys Knight, and week after week he brought innovative choreography and performance to the show while delighting us with his sense of humor and sharp wit. His electric performance in Season 14’s Design A Dance with Chelsie Hightower was one of the most memorable performances ever on Dancing With the Stars. Even though Tristan's DWTS journeys in Seasons 15 and 16 with Pamela Anderson and Dorothy Hamill were abbreviated, they were very special weeks that we will never forget. Season 17 with Valerie Harper was highly emotional, and his unparalleled compassion and extraordinary talent left an indelible impression on all of us. With his magnetic personality, contagious smile, and ability to enchant us on the dance floor, Tristan continues to attract fans willing to go to extreme lengths to show their support whether on DWTS or elsewhere, and we were delighted when he was announced as a pro on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing where his 2014 celebrity partner was actress Jennifer Gibney. The magic continued in 2015 when Tristan returned to Strictly to dance with singer and presenter Jamelia. Tristan has since worked with Mrs. Brown's Boys and was a judge on Dancing With the Stars Australia 2019 and 2020. He returned to the USA in May, 2019 to appear in Ballroom With A Twist. He is currently co-host of Australia's Studio 10.
The early members of this site came together initially through the ABC Message Board during Season 13 and connected through a love of dance and enormous respect for Tristan. Ultimately, we decided to continue our support after that season ended, and MacManiacs.org was born. Since this website was launched in November, 2011, we have added several hundred contributing members, and we have exceeded 1.8 million views on the forum alone. We have seen MacManiacs.org evolve into a multi-dimensional site that features an incredibly busy forum, a gallery with more than a dozen sub-pages, a special features section, a spotlight page, pages of links, a blog, and much more. In addition, other pages come and go in this always changing website.
Welcome to you all, but please remember to keep it respectful. Register (once for the site which you can do from the ‘Home’ tab, and once for the forum, which is accomplished by going to ‘MacManiaLand.’ If you plan on being active on our forum, please be sure and read the rules that are posted there.
